With 2 children of my own and 3 stepchildren, my wife and I have 5 kids between the ages of 6 and 11 in our household, and we love every minute!
I have a background in successfully launching and expanding a local professional service business. I employed SEO, social media, hand shakes, local networking, professional branding, and word of mouth to build a business reputation and brand over the course of more than a decade.
What I learned in launching my own business has applied incredibly well to offering higher level services to my Real Estate clients. When starting a business of any kind, it takes a level of determination and tenacity that is lacking from most employment. I'm not the type to sit around and wait for things to happen. I have pursued a sale when the listing agent drops the ball and fails to return calls. I've contacted owners of properties my clients want to buy but aren't on the market. I reach out to property managers to confirm my estimates on market rents, contractors to confirm or provide rehab estimates. I have leads coming in from wholesalers and am marketing for my own off market properties to bring to the market. If the right deal is out there, I will find it, even if the methods required may be unconventional or a bit 'uncomforatble' for the average agent.
I didn't come from a corporate 9-5 job before becoming a Realtor, and as such, the brick and mortar brokerages with designated cold calling hours weren't a good fit for me. After a few local brokerage interviews not meeting what I was looking for out of a brokerage, I found eXp and immediately fell in love with their cloud based brokerage system mixed with local mentorship by experienced agents. Since joining eXp, I have gone on to take over 40 hours of "extracurricular" education courses and am about 35 hours into my 105 total hour GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) classes to receive the GRI designation. I'm being mentored by one of the top Broker Associates in the Central Florida region while also networking with and gaining knowledge from all of the 10,000 eXp Realtors on a national level.
I have a team and education system with incredible experience behind me, as well as the professional experience and success in a different industry to build upon. I have a long-held passion for the real estate industry as well as real estate investments and plan to begin to build a portfolio of rental properties myself in the coming years.
I apply to my Real Estate business the relentless marketing, local branding, and "hustle" skills I have gained launching and growing a local service business for over ten years. I leverage those skills along with my current and growing network and my relationship-building skills to offer clients an accountable, professional, analytical, and highly-skilled partner and Realtor® in their property needs.
I will search, analyze, assist, refer, and help my clients in any way possible. If I don't know the answer to something, I'll be the first to admit that. I have contacts with architects, lenders, contractors, other investors to potentially partner with, and other Realtors who willingly share their knowledge.
